Using Northern Billboard
These terms apply when you browse our charts, vote in People's Choice or download our brand assets. Use the site lawfully, respect artists and other visitors, and do not interfere with the service or submit misleading information.
Nominations & winners
This year's nominees were selected by the Northern Billboard editorial team. Best Artist, Breakout Artist, Best Song and Best Album are decided by confirmed paid fan votes. Industry Impact is an editorial award and is not open to voting. Nomination criteria are published separately in the award rulebook.
Your ballot
Each ballot allows one selection per voted category. You may enter only the categories you choose. Each selection costs ₦100, with one combined payment for the ballot. A maximum of 10 votes per email per West Africa Time day applies. Further voting is allowed within that limit after payment. Automated voting, payment fraud and attempts to bypass limits are prohibited; invalid or fraudulent ballots may be excluded.
Payment & confirmation
Payment is processed securely by Paystack on the site. Your email is required for payment receipts and voting administration, not for signing in. Selecting a nominee or seeing a checkout success message alone does not count a vote: Northern Billboard must verify successful payment, the exact ballot amount and NGN currency. Keep your payment reference. If confirmation is delayed, check the result rather than paying twice.
Payment problems & refund requests
Contact support@northernbillboard.com with your payment reference and receipt email if you were charged twice, paid but received no confirmation, or believe a charge was incorrect. We will investigate against Paystack's records and handle any applicable correction or refund through the payment provider. A refund, reversal or chargeback may require the corresponding votes to be removed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights provided by applicable law.
Chart information
Chart rankings use the published methodology and verified weekly figures where available. Platform data can be delayed or corrected, and we may correct errors. A chart position is not an award vote or an endorsement. Artist images, music and platform marks remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Our brand assets
You may use the supplied Northern Billboard assets to link to the site or accurately report on its charts and awards. Keep proportions, colours and wording intact. Do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or an official partnership without permission, impersonate us, or sell merchandise bearing the brand without written consent.
Privacy, availability & changes
Our privacy policy explains how ballot information is handled. We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or third-party payment availability.
